Why can't I choose a higher resolution?

Horizon needs access to resolutions that support real time video processing. Depending on the device, these resolutions may be lower that the highest possible video recording resolution.

For example, you device may be able to record up to Full HD (1920X1080), but Horizon can access up to HD(1280X720).

With Android L, we will have more control over the camera and we will probably be able to provide higher resolutions.
